Sending a takedown notice
Send written notice to our designated agent at our contact page including all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with a URL specific enough for us to locate it
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner
What we do
- We acknowledge receipt and review the notice for completeness.
- Where the notice is complete, we remove or disable access to the identified material expeditiously.
- We notify the person who posted the material, where applicable, and pass on the notice.
- We log the notice, our action and the date.
- We may terminate access for repeat infringers.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed in error or as misidentification, send a counter-notice to our contact page with your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief that removal was a mistake, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address or, if outside the United States, for the courts of the governing-law state. We may restore the material as permitted by law after forwarding your counter-notice.
